Hummus

Hummus is a sauce based on chickpeas of Lebanese origins used in Middle Eastern cuisine, widespread since ancient times. Flavoured with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, ground cumin seeds and finely chopped parsley, it is a sauce with a consistency similar to a paté, which is now commonly served on our tables.

Tahin

Tahin is a sauce made from sesame seeds, roasted and ground white, widespread in North Africa and the Near East. Used in oriental cuisine as an ingredient to enrich different dishes such as hummus or falafel, with a consistency similar to a paté, is now commonly served on our tables, also because it is very easy to prepare it at home with only two ingredients, sesame and olive oil.

Wasabi

Wasabi, well-known for its intense and spicy flavour is often served with oriental dishes such as Sushi and Sashimi. A green paste, with a rich consistency, obtained from the rhizome of eutrema japonicum, a sort of Japanese radish, wasabi is real natural medicine, an excellent ally for the prevention of food poisoning due to its antibacterial properties. Furthermore, it is a good digestive with great anti-inflammatory and purifying properties for the body, being able to expel toxins and helps the cleaning of the liver. At the same time, it is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants and it is considered as one of the secrets of Japanese longevity.
